WETHERSFIELD EAGLES YOUTH FOOTBALL AND CHEER

FREE YOUTH TACKLE FOOTBALL CLINICS (For Grades 1st – 7 th )

SILAS DEANE MIDDLE SCHOOL GYMNASIUM

MAY 16TH and 17TH 6:30-8pm

(ATTEND ONE CLINIC OR BOTH)

Horticultural research at land-grant universities is coming up with better types of grass that stands up to the stresses of NFL football. (iStock image)

 

 

This clinic is designed to First Tackle Football Players or Players/Parent “on the bubble” regarding Tackle Football. However the clinic is open to all youth wanting to attend.

Players: The clinics will cover

  • A typical football practice (warmups, format, and expectations)
  • Offensive drills and techniques (passing, receiving, blocking, and more)
  • Defensive drills and techniques (tackling, coverage and formations)

Parents: Come learn the steps USA FOOTBALL has taken to make TACKLE FOOTBALL SAFER for our young players.

 

**Please make sure your player wears sneakers and brings water to the clinics**
